What’s included in the daily supply charge?

Our daily supply charge is made up of two wholesale costs that we pass through, with no markup. There's nothing extra included in your daily supply charge.

1) Daily network fees. Your local network (who manage the poles and wires) charge a daily fee to maintain a constant supply of electricity to your property.

2) Daily metering costs. The daily fee we must pay to use and get data from your electricity meter. This fee also goes to the networks, who own and maintain all electricity meters and their connection to the grid.

We pass through these fees directly at the cost to us, with no markup. Amber’s monthly subscription fee is not included in the daily supply charge.

Daily supply charges differ for each state and network, so you can check yours by entering your postcode here.
